I've been using this trimmer for about 5 months. Overall, this is a good but not great personal appliance. Yes, it trims quite well and holds a charge for an acceptable number of uses. But product design could be better. I'm always inadvertently pressing the poorly placed on/off switch. However, the trimmer's phallic-like shape is good for a laugh with the ladies.

The "Turbo" feature is simply a marketing gimmick. Happily, a gas compressor used for forced-induction of an internal combustion engine is not to be found here. This battery powered device does not have an internal combustion engine. Duh! The "turbo" feature generates a little more noise and vibration. The ladies like that too.

I recently bought the Philips Norelco T980 Turbo Vacuum Trimmer. It is advertised to trim beards and mustaches but I use it to give my husband a haircut. He doesn't have much hair and he just doesn't want to look bald. I love the rechargeable/cordless feature. It is not noisy. We used to have a corded hair trimmer but this is so much better. The hair waste container is small so I wouldn't recommend it to do haircuts except for balding heads.
